The Role

 

·      Curate an Awesome Guest Experience

o   Follow and enforce systems to ensure consistency in product and service

o   Touch tables and build rapport with Guests and perform quality investigations

o   Maintain Pristine Physical Plant

o   Perform Guest recoveries when necessary

·      Create a Supportive, Safe and Growth Oriented Work Environment

o   Foster an environment of happy people making people happy

o   Conduct Pre-Shift meetings

o   Audit Staff performances and give in the moment feedback

o   Work Safely in accordance with OSHA

o   Hold regular training meetings to consistently develop knowledge and skills of team members

·      Manage Daily Operations

o   Perform Comps, Voids and other POS functions

o   Employee Scheduling

o   Ensure restaurant is staffed to maintain optimal profit margins

o   Check Inventory, order FOH Supplies

o   Inspect and sign for incoming orders

o   Open/Close restaurant in accordance with daily checklists

o   Follow and Enforce Company Policies and Procedures

o   Cash handling & reconciliation

·      Continually Develop Management Skills

o   Ongoing development of product knowledge

o   Use strategic thinking when collaborating with GM on new systems and processes

o   Keeping up to date with Industry Trends

 

Who You Are

 

The right person for this role has a strong hospitality leadership background and prioritizes both guest and team member experience aligned with our mission of creating transporting experiences. The ideal candidate is equal parts people and process-driven with an aptitude for creating efficiencies at all levels of the business.

 

Preference will be given to those who possess:

·      Minimum 4 years of restaurant management experience

·      Proficient in fine dining restaurant functions

·      Strong Leadership and Communication skills

·      Strategic and Innovative Thinker

·      Valid California RBS and ServSafe Food Handler Certifications

·      Valid First Aid & OSHA Management Training an asset

·      Passionate, Positive, and Approachable
