The Role
As a Pasta Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence and authenticity of our pasta dishes. You will be responsible for crafting a variety of pasta types, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary creations. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is dedicated to the art of pasta making and eager to contribute to a dynamic culinary environment.
The Role
· Prepare food to order as specified by the Chef and guest follow recipes accurately as outlined by Chef
· Coordinate timing of dish completion with other cooks
· Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions as directed by Chef
· Station ownership - ensure all mis en place needed for service are ready for use
· Prior to service, prep dish elements such as stocks and garnishes. This may include chopping vegetables and butchery
· Ensure tools such as knives, pans, are in place
· Consistently follow and complete prep lists according to company guidelines o Label products accurately and follow First In First Out when managing storage
· Perform duties in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration Sanitize work stations
· Regular hand washing & station disinfection
· Mark and date all stored food
· Ensure dishes are prepared to accurate temperature
· Station clean up Disposing of waste & accountability to composting programs
· Sweep and mop
· Clean all surfaces on station
· Store or dispose of all unused items

The ideal candidate is equal parts people and process-driven with an aptitude for creating efficiencies at all levels of the business.
Preference will be given to those who possess:
· Similar restaurant service experience
· Proficient in full-service restaurant functions
· Strong Communication skills
· Strategic and Innovative Thinker
· Valid California RBS and ServSafe Food Handler Certifications
· Valid First Aid & OSHA Management Training an asset
· Passionate, Positive, and Approachable
